Our Story
Built Different. From the Jump.
TNDM Streetwear was born in Vancouver — not in a boardroom, not in a marketing meeting, but in the same streets where skate culture, cannabis culture, and a certain kind of quiet ambition all collide.
Bilal Clouse and Matt Leendertse did not start a clothing brand to make noise. They started it because the culture they lived in did not have something that felt right — something that held the weight of who they actually were without screaming it at everyone in the room.
That is TNDM. Tendency. The way you move. The things you are drawn to without being able to explain exactly why.
The ZAZA Connection
Bilal and Matt also founded ZAZA — a BC cannabis brand built on the same philosophy. Quality you can feel. Identity you do not have to announce. When ZAZA became a piece of the wardrobe, TNDM was the natural extension: the brand for people who live in that world without needing a flag to prove it.
The ZAZA tee is not merch. It is a bridge — between two brands, two cultures, and a lifestyle that has always been more about character than clout.
Who This Is For
You smoke. You skate. You build things. You move quietly and people still notice you. You buy less, but better. You do not need a label to tell you who you are — but you appreciate when a label actually gets it.
TNDM is for young business owners. Creatives. People who are building something real while looking like they are barely trying.
Vancouver taught us that the people with the most going on are usually the ones making the least amount of noise about it. That is the brand. That has always been the brand.
The Standard
Every piece is chosen with intention. Heavyweight fabrics. Considered colorways. Construction that lasts. We are not interested in fast fashion or fast hype. We are interested in pieces that are still in your rotation three years from now — broken in, lived in, worn.
Legacy is not something you announce. It is something you build — one right decision at a time.
TNDM. Vancouver. Built for legacy.
